  • The NYT updated the story today: one of the cops lit it slip that they're harassing citizens in retaliation for several cops are being prosecuted for corruption. If true, the USDOJ needs to get involved.

  • How can we tell them apart? My house was built (in 1999) with 10 smoke detectors, which are wired in. I don't want replace or supplement them if they're already the right kind.
